주제 : Flavor of particles, as a key for New physics

󰏟발 표 요 약 :

As an introduction on the flavor physics, this talk will cover two violation phenomena in the study of particle flavor: CP violation (CPV) and charged lepton flavor violation (CLFV). The CPV played a critical role in completing the Standard model of particle physics, and the Nobel prize was awarded on it in 2008. The CLFV is a violation of the "accidental" conservation of the particle flavor, which has been recognized as unambiguous signature of new physics beyond the Standard model of particle physics. Experimentally, B meson, tau and muon lepton decays were studied for more than 30 years for CPV and CLFV studies, which will be reviewed in this talk, along with their future impacts on the New physics.
