주제 : Tailoring optoelectronic properties of two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides materials

Atomically thin transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) of a new class of two-dimensional (2D) materials have opened new opportunities for the next generation optoelectronics because of their unique layer-dependent electrical and optical properties. The modulation of optical and electrical properties of TMDCs is importance to enable various devices. Therefore, it is important to develop a strategy for implementing high-performance devices. In this seminar, I will present the modulation of the optical and electrical properties of TMDs through doping, strain engineering, contact engineering, and 2D material-based heterostructures.
