물리colloquium
주제 : Introduction to Angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy
발 표 요 약 :
Angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (ARPES) is an electronic structure measurement technique that simultaneously measures the energy and momentum of photoelectrons bouncing off a solid surface by irradiating it with light of energy greater than the unity function. This unique method has made it possible to directly measure many different many-body motions as well as fundamental properties of matter. In this colloquium, I will present an introduction to principle of the ARPES technique and its applications in condensed matter physics.
